So you want to meet a 2010 AP Tour Band? Well you’re in luck!
AP and Wonka have teamed up to bring you the “Show Your Wonka Love” Contest.
The Rules are simple:
Follow The AP Tour Twitter account @theAptour
Each Day AP will tweet (from the AP Tour Twitter account) a Wonka “Word of the Day,” for each tour stop. AP Tour ticket holders can create a unique sign (minimum size 8.5” x 11”) that creatively incorporates the Wonka Word of the Day .
Remember, Wonka is all about imagination and unpredictability, so don’t be afraid to get creative!
While waiting in line before the doors open, contest representatives will judge the entries based on inclusion of Wonka Word of the Day, Creativity, and Uniqueness of sign.
You must show up no earlier than two hours before doors open, and already have tickets to that night’s show to be eligible!
Prizes:
Five finalists will be chosen to win a custom Wonka/AP Tour T-shirt.
Those same five finalists will also get escorted to the front of the line for that night’s show!
One of the five finalists will win the Grand Prize meet and greet with one of the AP Tour bands at the conclusion of that night’s concert!
So get your markers and construction paper ready, and keep an eye on the AP Tour Twitter account for the Wonka Word of the Day!

The Rocket Summer @ Rocketown
Last night I saw the rocket summer @ Rocketown. This was one amazing show. They announced the show only a week and a half ago and the venue was packed. This was a more intimate setting than most Rocket Summer shows. They were on the small stage. This made the show that much more incredible.
The openers, all nashville locals, were great.

My name is Brett Pierce and I’m the team leader for Nashville Alternative Press. I have a wonderful team with me as well. Let me introduce you..

I was previously on the Detroit team and recently moved to Nashville. I’m really excited about starting a new team here. I mean it is Music City after all.
